Becoming a Primary Spine Care Provider with Donald Murphy DC

Cutting through the clutter in your community and positioning yourself as an expert in a particular niche is the fastest way to build a great reputation and practice.

In this episode, I interview Dr. Donald Murphy of the PSP Program, PSP Network, and the CRISP books we have all come to love. Dr. Murphy shares his insights on professional development, becoming a Primary Spine Practitioner, and other strategies to enhance your clinical skills.

We discuss many topics in this wide-ranging episode, including:

  • Furthering your education after chiropractic school

  • Does specialization increase your compensation

  • How to build your practice as a Primary Spine Practitioner or chiropractic diplomates

  • The Network Effect

  • Looking at your first 3 years after graduation as a residency

  • Positioning yourself as an expert in your community

  • Finding positions in larger organizations other than private practice

  • Emerging opportunities in the chiropractic profession

This was a conversation I have wanted to have for years, and it was an exciting opportunity to have Dr. Murphy share his wisdom, passion, and professional knowledge with us on this episode.
