The High Achievers Dilemma

Being in bigger rooms is vital for your professional and personal growth. As you achieve more, such as finishing eight years of higher education and opening your own business, and when you work hard, smart, and consistently over some time, a level of success, you find fewer and fewer friends, family, and support systems who can help you grow even more.

I started my journey of professional growth in 2013 by surrounding myself with others who were doing big things. As I started to have practice success from 2011-2013, I was finding myself on an island and not having the right people around me to grow even more.

As I continued to grow and get into even bigger rooms of driven, talented, brilliant people, at times, it felt uncomfortable, but that was just the chasm between where I currently was and the next leap I was about to make.

In this episode, I discuss the importance of surrounding yourself with other like-minded chiropractors who are doing big things, and how that can help you grow in many areas.

We often have a limited mindset on investing in ourselves professionally, whether it is in clinical training but especially when it is business and professional growth.

The dual dilemma of being a lonely high achiever and not finding ourselves in the right rooms was the genesis of starting the MCM Mastermind in 2022. I couldn’t have foreseen the success of our founding cohort in terms of Return On Investment, relationships built, practice growth results, and that it would max out at 25 members. Every member from 2022 returned to 2023, and 21 of 22 are returning to 2024.

Here is a short video giving you an insight look of our Mastermind Group: https://youtu.be/1drUA-_OpiI

Since we have filled the East Cohort, we are excited to launch our West Mastermind Cohort for 2024. The locations are in the Pacific and Mountain Time Zone Cities, but you don’t have to reside in the West to attend.

The transformative purpose of the MCM Mastermind will be to bring a group of 20-25 big thinking members together to help each other exponentially grow their practices and lives. This will not be a didactic lecture style, but rather a facilitation of topics, strategies, and ideas we all work through together.
